Analisis Implementasi Program Pemberian Makanan Tambahan (PMT) untuk Penanggulangan Stunting di Kabupaten Probolinggo
Abstract
Kabupaten Probolinggo merupakan salah satu daerah dengan angka stunting tertinggi di Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi program Pemberian Makanan Tambahan (PMT) sebagai upaya penanggulangan stunting yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Probolinggo. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan pemangku kebijakan dan kelompok sasaran, serta analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program PMT telah terbukti efektif. Ditemukan kenaikan berat badan sebesar 0,95 kg dan peningkatan tinggi badan sebesar 2,64 cm pada penerima PMT sejak program ini diterapkan, yang menandakan peningkatan status gizi mereka. Selain itu, jumlah kasus stunting juga mengalami penurunan sebanyak 2.500 anak setelah implementasi program ini. Meskipun demikian, terdapat kendala dalam hal kepatuhan kelompok sasaran di mana ada beberapa target yang tidak mengikuti secara penuh program PMT ini. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peningkatan koordinasi antar sektor atau dinas terkait untuk mencegah tumpang tindih sasaran pemberian PMT, meningkatkan efisiensi program, dan memberikan dampak yang lebih signifikan, termasuk penyelarasan program dan pemetaan sasaran.
