Publication Ethics

This statement clarifies ethical behaviour of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in this journal including the author, the editorial board, the peer reviewer and the publisher.


Authors should read author guidelines and any policies that related to their submission. Authors not allowed to withdraw their submission after entering the review stages.

Editorial Board

Editors evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the author. The editor and any editorial staff must not disclose any information about submitted manuscript to anyone other than corresponding author, reviewer, potential reviewers, other editorial adviser, and the publisher as appropriate. Editors are responsible for deciding which articles should be published. Editors may confer with other editors or reviewers in making decision.

Peer Reviewer

Peer review assists the editor in making editorial decisions and through the editorial communications with the author may also assist the author in improving the paper. Any selected reviewer who feels unqualified to review the manuscript or knows that its prompt review will be impossible should notify the editor and excuse himself from the review process. Reviews should be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Referees should express their views clearly with supporting arguments. Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. They must not be shown to or discussed with others except as authorized by the editor. Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument had been previously reported should be accompanied by the relevant citation. A reviewer should also call to the editor's attention any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and any other published paper of which they have personal knowledge.


The publisher is Balitbangda Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. As a publisher takes its duties of guardianship over all stages of publishing extremely seriously and we recognize our ethical and other responsibilities. Publisher together with editorial board will assist in communication with other journal and/or publishers where this is useful and necessary.

Peer Review Process

Review Process

The articles published in this journal have gone through the format and substance review process by the editorial team and reviewer according to their expertise. The pre-review of the article will be carried out to see the suitability of the article format with the JKP template, which includes the writing systematic, page format, images, tables, citations, and systematic of references. Reviews by Peer Reviewer using the double-blind method, wich carried out for 1-2 weeks.  The decision to accept the article is the authority of the Editor in Chief based on recommendations from Reviewers and The Editorial Team.

Open Access Policy

JKP provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. We do not charge fees for accessing articles, nor for publishing or processing submissions.

Cancellation Policy

The author is not allowed to cancel the submission that is already in the review process because the cancellation or withdrawal of the submission is a wasted work carried out by the editor or reviewer.

If the author still wants to cancel the submission (at any stage), they must submit an official letter of cancellation/withdrawal signed by all authors on stamp duty. The letter contains the title of the submission, the names of author(s), affiliation(s) & address, and the reason for the canceling. Cancellation letter sent to JKP e-mail and at OJS in the last discussion section. 

The author who cancel/withdraw submission (at any stage) will be blacklisted for publication on JKP for 3 (three) years. The blacklist will be written the full name of the author(s) and affiliation(s) and most likely will be published.
